The Volunteer Center of Lubbock is a community agency organized for the purpose of meeting community needs through the promotion and enhancement of volunteerism and for the provision of management assistance services for non-profit organizations.
The Volunteer Center of Lubbock provides management assistance services to any non-profit agency in the 15 county South Plains Association of Government (SPAG) area.

» Provide ways for community members to gain access to volunteer opportunities
» Provide training for people from minority communities in preparation for service on community boards
» Provide opportunities for people with special skills and limited time to volunteer by using the Skill Bank
» Provide a system for Criminal Background Checks for agencies with vulnerable clientele
