What are the most important rewards in your career and why did you choose it? The ladies and their families at Women’s Protective Services are such a reward. Seeing them succeed, each in their own way is so exciting.
What are your interests outside of work? I like to read, garden, ride horses when I get the chance, hang-out with friends and family members, and shop.
What accomplishments have given you the most satisfaction and why? Women’s Protective Services being able to pay down $500,000 in debt for their property. Paying off the debt allows the women to always have a place to be.
Who is your hero? Joe Love Nelson – she founded Women’s Protective Services in 1978 and currently serves on their board. Joe Love is funny, sincere, passionate, and a great mentor.
What two or three things are most important to you in your job? Keeping all of the Women’s Protective Services families safe and providing for their needs. Also it is important to ensure funding for all of the families’ many necessities.
Where is your favorite place you have been on vacation and why? Atlanta, GA – it is beautiful and there is a lot to do and see.
